He approached everything from a very simple, common sense point of view and walked his audience through their own absurdities with a smile and grandfatherly "You've had your fun but now it's time to see how stupid that is" advice. A very smart man. I credit him with my love for our language and the hidden power within it. Was a very sad day for me when he died as he was one of my heroes.
one of the greats so far ahead of his time.... and what he used as comedy is more truth than just a joke..........
