Fear of going to the hot place is a totally legit reason to get right with God.
I mean, all you really need to do is acknowledge that Jesus is the son of God, and that he died for your sins. If you can cross that bridge in your mind, the rest falls into place pretty easily.
And many will stand like men knowing they’ve lived moral lives simply bc it was the right thing to do...because of principles, not out of FEAR; doing something just to cover your ass (or bc you might get a cookie) is what slaves do. If He chooses blind, mindless sheep, motivated by fear, over free-thinking, principled humans, motivated by good/truth, well then you can keep Him.
I would tend to agree with that; the judeo-christian tales/values laid out in the Bible are a wonderful source of wisdom and an excellent framework for a good and just life. I believe it is an amazing example of our human values evolving right along with us; for a story to survive for SO long, there HAS to be some truth in it (whether it’s more metaphorical: ‘live this way and that will lead to balance and happiness’, or more literal.)
What if I told you your concept of a good and moral life is rooted in Jesus' loving sacrifice for us on the cross. And that we know NCSWIC because God wins as demonstrated by the victory over life errors, malevolent beings, and death itself.
Earth is the great filter. We have free choice to do as we will. And our choices will show who we are. And there are consequences for both good, and bad choices
That just makes it sound like you do it from fear of punishment/want of reward. Not a convincing argument at to any atheist at all.

I'm not a little bitch though. I'd never drop to my knees for anyone but I always take responsibility for my actions and life and accept them.
If you've done nothing wrong then what have you to fear?
Or we can help love the into believing in that goodness.
God is much bigger than that. And since all have sinned we have no right to relegate any person to help. Its our job to love them in His stead.
It will be too late, I’m afraid
We were given a physical body for a reason
