Or is it better to know that God is love and light and that he has no darkness at all in Him.

That Je so loved the world he gave his only begotten son Nd gave its unto men.

Eternal life is a result of that gift. A promise of a resurrection and new body at Christ return. And many benefits as you walk this corrupt earth.
