One person in the comments at Gab called BS because no one in the industry refers to it as Oil and Gas. They call it the Oil industry, or the oil patch, etc.
Also, how do you go from working with pregnant women in reproduction and endocrinology to being an executive in recruiting for the petroleum industry? She said working with women, not medical recruiting, which might translate to other recruiting. Sounds flakey.
She's an "executive in recruiting" because any Tom Dick or Harry can be a recruiter. Zero barrier to entry. She places one person per year she can call it a proper job. She's probably an executive of a one-person recruiting shop.
And the other poster was right...nobody refers to it as Oil and Gas except maybe executives of one person recruiting shops.

Its always called oil and gas, up here in Canada at least.
She sounds Canadian. Maybe it's a regional thing.
After all the crazy stuff that's been coming out Canada, all bets are off what nefarious plots they are hatching.
Still sounds like BS to me. Weird transition from miscarried baby to an insider in the petroleum industry, which is what I knew it as a ChemE major.
Geologists call it Oil and Gas industry as well.
Lots of people call it oil & gas.
