I would think so, but maybe right to try doesn't become an option until late in an illness. Unless a patient can demand it for himself, it will be up to the family (who probably agreed to put him on the ventilator to begin with).

They produced a bunch of reports highlighting problems with HCQ, including a few where they intentionally overdosed patients to induce heart problems. And then of course the Lancet and NE Journal of Medicine articles, which were outright frauds and got retracted a few month's later.
He did. Or rather he ordered the FDA to issue it, threatening to fire the director if he didn't, iirc. It's in the public record. It needed an EUA not to be approved for use generally, but specifically to be used against covid. The limitations were imposed in different ways by various state governors, by state medical boards, insurance companies, pharmacies, hospitals and doctor groups. In other parts of the country it was readily available with a prescription by any doctor. Depended more on your state more than anything else.

Exactly. There is no path to put a generic, previously approved drug on to fast track it to anywhere. The President can't use an E.O. to force governors to release a drug to their residents if said governors have made it illegal in their states.
They lied about everything they said it was causing heart attacks and the doctors wouldn't prescribe it and the drug stores wouldn't provide it. There were some doctors speaking out about it, mostly others were just doing the lefts bidding. They never thought the President could pull it off to get the vax so quickly they planned on a much longer scenario.
Don't forget sponsoring fake studies, and conducting rigged trials.
So many more millions would have died if he didn't do what he did to stop them.... A pharmaceutical vaccine was all they would have accepted.

I have to kind of agree with OP here... there were definitely other avenues that could have been taken. I’m all for a great awakening and all, been saying people need to wake up for 15+ years but this didn’t need to get to this point. The democrats change whatever they want on a whim, a Republican President could do the same. We could have set good things in place while saving the time and lives at the same time.
I am happy with what he did while he was President but I am not too happy with what has become of our country while playing this game.
It needs to stop, now.
We are in a war and there is always collateral damage unfortunately. But he must stay focused on the big picture which is taking down the cabal and all of their 'combatants' on the front lines all the way down to the "privates". In order to do this we must let things play out to expose all of them, otherwise we would just be right back in this same mess in a few years. We must weed out all of the evil in order to save the whole country. Our people need to wake up and find other solutions, many other options exist to treat covid besides HCQ that are over the counter such as Quercetin, zinc, vitamins C and D, black seed oil and N-aceytlcysteine. Also some doctors are standing up and prescribing HCQ and the Ivermectin protocols such as the America's Frontline Doctors, Dr Zelenko, Dr Syed, Dr. Marek and many others. So they need to seek them out or find another alternative. Trump cannot do this alone nor can he save everyone. He is doing what will be best in the long run, saving the world not just a few.
