If the footage of him cheating of his wife was taped 3 months ago, why is it being released now? What bigger thing are we being distracted from?

She may not be entirely unaware of this situation. Her family is also interesting.

These people still seem to marry for societal gain, I'm not convinced they feel the same as us about spouses and children, it all seems disposable if personal gain is at stake.
