They also want us to prove we're vaccinated which will expose our health information on the cloud in out HR system. I fully intend to fight this and I've emailed American Frontline Doctors. If my department manager isn't willing to fight this I'll be forwarding AFDs documentation. At worse, threaten resignation.
I've worked here for 4 years and I know they can't afford to train someone else with the workload we do. And since I've been in IT nearly all my life I can safely say I can get a job elsewhere with relative ease. (Or perhaps collect unemployment and milk Illinois while I build my own business up, we'll see).
Never resign. Just continue doing what's right until they attempt to fire you, then sue.
Document, document, document. Take notes of meetings and comments, note who was at what meeting, the time, date, location. Get every order in writing if possible. No detail is too small, get a notebook started. Make them fire you, ensure that you keep all correspondence about your performance as well going back as far as you can.

Fuck them. I'm in IT, also, and I'm out of office for 1 year and 2 1/2 months now. No reason to go back to office and wear a mask or get the kill shot. If the mandate it for us, good luck. I refuse. Some of my co-workers didn't, they took the shot "to get back to normal". In the times coming, my workload will increase, I guess. Next winter will be a very dark winter for the jabtakers.
Refuse. Get a new job if neccesary.
Be prepared to lose your job. I was sent home yesterday while HR decides what to do with me. Fuck em. Greener pastures ahead.

This shows that these mask within 3 minutes will violate hippa laws. On top major health complications can ensue, for which your employer has to bear full responsibility.
It is a medical experiment to wear masks, apart from the fact that physics and biology teaches us these masks are useless to prevent inhalation of particles the size of "viruses".
For participation a medical informed consent is needed.
Ask him to show complete risk analysis and the science behind the requirement.
Start looking around already. Better to act from a position of strength.
Keep up the good fight, even if you loose your job need to put these people in their place. And yes it is easy to find a new job in IT.

There are signs everywhere in my office saying to wear a mask if you’re not vaccinated. Yet, they dont require proof, soooooo....

Forget about your health data on the cloud, you are being obligated to discuss your health data with everyone you see on a daily basis.
Whether you are vaccinated or not is your personal business. So are the reasons why. So are the pre exposure prophylactic drugs that you take. (I.e. ivermectin or Hydroxy and zinc). There are studies that show these drugs will reduce viral load so even if you are exposed to covid you are not contagious.
You should not have to disclose any of this to colleagues.

It took a bit extra for me to hear back from frontline docs on the lawyer. They are backed up and it depends a lot on your area. I have heard it suggested to make them fire you for unemployment if you quit the legalities charge. I’m reminded of the Bible verse suggesting the builder weight the costs before getting started. May you go forward with intent and courage into as much as your willing to engage.

You're in IT. You can't find a way to "prove" vaccination without exposing your real medical record. They can't legally check all they can do is accept what you give them.
I shouldn't HAVE to do that. Which is why I'm fighting this. And it certainly isn't just me who is pissed off at this.
