I really feel attention needs to be drawn on how quick people are to " check the box" an blindly agree to what they are not only agreeing to but LEGALLY giving up their freedoms and protections.
I think people become complacent after awhile. When every single thing we do has 20 pages of EULA to read, whether its a phone, or a Microsoft product, or website, or an app, or a service, or whatever, people just assume it's templated and it's "The same as all the others".
I think they know this about people, and use that complacency to their advantage.
