If anything, this should start to raise awareness for what is happening on the border:
South Carolina has reportedly sent 300 troops to the southern border
Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts said the state will send about 25 troopers to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety for up to 16 days.
Iowa is expected to send 25 to 30 officers to Texas for about two weeks.
Florida said it would send 50 police officers to Texas.
The requested 185 members of the Ohio Army National Guard will be deployed to provide non-law enforcement support (115 are already stationed at the border)
Add ons:
Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota has also announced sending NG to border as well
Arkansas Guard, said the specifics of the mission will be to repair and recover vehicles for the border task force. He said the maintenance crew is expected to be around 20 to 30 troops, but can be up to 40 if Hutchinson requests it.

Yeah, 50 officers for 14 days is barely even training.
I like the awareness factor. I had no idea so many states were at least expressing concerns over the ramifications of the border policy. Maybe MSM will be forced to cruise down there sometime
