Everyone gets a CDC vax card after being vaccinated but most are hand written and have little identifying info other than patient name and DOB. Is there a central database that can confirm the legitimacy of a CDC vax card?

I haven’t had the vax but my son is a pharmacist. When they give the jab they take the persons insurance info. The insurance co gets billed for the shot. They then send a bill to the government for reimbursement. That’s how the data is collected. I don’t know how it’s documented for those without insurance.
but.... but...... but... isn't the jab "free"??????
