Yes. I know the deets. I live there. The way you describe is is EXACTLY what happened. Noem acts like she is a decent governor until it comes to listening to the voice of the people. Then she becomes just as authoritarian as the rest. Her individual wishes apparently trumps the will of the people. She’s a fraud just like the rest of them.
A gov doesnt just follow the what the populace wants. A gov is ELECTED by the populace to lead the populace, not follow the populace. Im amazed at how people still don't understand civics.
What does that even mean? If you don't understand how our government works then just say so. If you want to get someone else voted in then just campaign to put someone else in office that's better than her. If weed is your priority then get others who feel the same to campaign against her.
That's how our government works, but if you want to continue to think that anything you don't agree with is "totalitarian" then maybe you'd be better suited living in Portland with other weedbros.
So am I understanding this correctly or is this a smear against Noem?
54% voted for legalizing marijuana in SD, and Noem wants to overturn the voice of the people? Anyone know details about this better than me?

I am amazed at how many “Frens” go full on totalitarian the instant it aligns with forcing THEIR view of what’s moral onto another person.
