I knew Barak Obama's bid for the Presidency was destined for our destruction before he even announced he was running.
Back in the day, I was a die hard NPR listener/contributor.
In an interview prior to his announcing his candidacy he was asked, "Will you let race affect your decisions and/or policy?"
His response was, "When I am making decisions, I have to remember that my girls are black and then make my decision based on that".
He came RIGHT OUT and said YES, I WILL USE RACE TO DECIDE MY POLICY FOR THE US.
Had any other candidate or merely a white candidate answered that way, they would have been blown out of the water. It would have ended their political career.
I was dumfounded and new right then and there, he was going to be the destruction of our country.
Same, told my hubby in fall of 2008 before the election that I hoped he was not a muslim infiltrator getting to the top office in our land to take us over from within. This was before I know what I know now. I had that feeling about him.
He was on the cover of Time with the title "next president?". He was already chosen and Hillary had no chance, even though she probably had more votes.
In our state you must declare R or D in the primary. That year (2008) it was already determined that McCain was the R candidate by the time our primary rolled around. So...I admit....I declared to be a D ( horrors!!) just so I could vote for Clinton against Obama...he was coming across as so arrogant and entitled. It didn't matter bc he won the primary in our state that year. Only time I have ever voted for D for pres. in a primary....or ever for that matter.

I remember Operation Chaos. To this day, the Left is still salty over it.
