Question to ask yourselves - what happens if Durham finds the DOJ accomplices in the crimes?

Maybe more specifically here in 28 U.S.C. §§ 526:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/28/526

"The Attorney General may investigate the official acts, records, and accounts of...the United States attorneys, marshals, trustees..." (italics mine)

So Durham, with the Attorney General powers delegated to him by Barr, would prosecute the case against DoJ itself.

We joke about Durham but it's a big friggin deal that he is specifically working on human rights crimes and would act as AG in prosecuting them.

EDIT: I think the big open question, that would likely land in the Supreme Court, is what happens if Durham finds the current AG is potentially a criminal, or vice versa? Which would take precedence? Does a provision exist for this?

Well, if we are to trust Q then I would guess the special council will take precedence at least in this case.

However, I don't quite see it spelled out in 509, 510, 515 above that Durham has same standing as AG in this case. Could you explain?

Fren, I think I got a bit excited in my dig and read something that wasn't there. That's not to say the Special Counsel is not an extremely powerful assignment, but on further reading I don't believe it equates to the same standing as AG.

For instance, 28 CFR § 600.7, seems to allow the AG to override a special counsel prosecution:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/28/600.7

So one question this does raise is whose side is Merrick Garland on and whether he'll be around for the remainder of the operation?

It's ok fren. :/

That's too bad, though. This all has to be rewritten someday. It doesn't account for corruption at the top which we obviously have today. I am still hopeful Q & Q++ have some plan... It makes no sense at all that they would just lead us on for no reason at all.

But TY for all your research

"Following consultation with Mr. Durham, I have determined that, in light of the extraordinary circumstances relating to these matters, the public interest warrants Mr. Durham continuing this investigation pursuant to the powers and independence afforded by the Special Counsel regulations.

"Accordingly, by virtue of the authority vested in the Attorney General, including 28 U.S.C. §§ 509, 510, and 515...."

28 U.S.C. §§ 509, 510, 515

509 (Section to enforce human rights laws) (italics mine) https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/28/part-II/chapter-31 This is indicative that Durham is a criminal investigation of human rights violations.

510 (delegation of authority) https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/28/510 "The Attorney General may from time to time make such provisions as he considers appropriate authorizing the performance by any other officer, employee, or agency of the Department of Justice of any function of the Attorney General."

From my reading of 510, you can think of Durham as Attorney General when it comes to prosecution of any crimes found during his investigation.

515 (authority for legal proceedings) "The Attorney General or any other officer of the Department of Justice, or any attorney specially appointed by the Attorney General under law, may, when specifically directed by the Attorney General, conduct any kind of legal proceeding, civil or criminal..." https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/28/515

My reading of 515 is Durham will run the show.

The Durham post is no joke. What is going on right now is all about preparing us for Durham to run the most important trial in world history.

Btw it's either hilarious or disturbing to look at how little Durham has spent so far. Have a look if you want a laugh.

https://www.justice.gov/file/1399136/download

EDIT: It appears I read too much into 509. There is 509, 509A, and 509B. 509A and 509B do not appear to be under 509, but rather after it. This doesn't mean that Durham doesn't have the power of AG, but it does mean I read the crimes against humanity part directly from the press release when I likely shouldn't have.

That money piece concerns me. 500k for personnel expenses is barely enough to keep a single attorney on full time. Another 13k for travel doesn’t appear to be much either. Maybe Durham is doing most of the leg work himself?

Which I am sure they are. IDK what happens but he has brought corrupt FBI agents to justice in the Bulger case

It took seven years for John Durham to wrap up the Whitey Bulger case. Hopefully having improved technology to track everything case related, and a larger staff, is helping his case move along swiftly. But most here would agree that we want it done right so convictions come.

This is why I think Huber and Horowitz were tapped to help. They had whole teams investigating pieces of this large scale fraud to help Durham. Their cases went off the radar and closed without much commotion, I think, because they were part of Durham’s much bigger ongoing investigation. The military is also helping.

I asked about Huber in my other group & this is what I got:

Huber resigned 2/28/21. There is, to my knowledge, no clue as to whether he was still investigating the CF/U-1, or, if he was, whether that investigation was handed off to anyone else. Also, when I say "resigned" I mean he gave up his position in the DoJ a month or so into the Biden admin, as did multiple other folk, which is not at all unexpected in an administration change. So, we really don't know.

However, 1/9/20 the WaPo printed an article which includes this: "As a part of his review, Huber examined documents and conferred with federal law enforcement officials in Little Rock who were handling a meandering probe into the Clinton Foundation, people familiar with the matter said. Current and former officials said that Huber has largely finished and found nothing worth pursuing — though the assignment has not formally ended and no official notice has been sent to the Justice Department or to lawmakers, these people said." I'll point out two things. This is the WaPo, first off, and we know how hell-bent the WaPo has been to run narrative against 45. And there is that key phrase in there: "...people familiar with the matter said." Followed by "not formally ended". There has never been a formal ending to it that I know of. In June of '20 even 45 took a verbal shot at Huber, rather like he does when asking "Where's Durham?" There was some overlap of what Huber was tasked with by Sessions, and what Durham was tasked with by Barr. So, there is some possibility that aspects of Huber's investigation were handed over to Durham. But, again, I have seen nothing to back that thought. Bottom line? Huber is out, but I am not sure I trust media announcements that his investigation ended.

Quit believing in Durham, the military or even us! It’s going to be the normies and leftest who rip the pro Covid poison jab people limb to limb! They are waking up daily to the fact, they are being exterminated! Wait until blacks figure out they have been targeted again! These depopulation effs are sickos!

I also am seeing normies begin to question whether they can trust the CDC as I read about how one Texarkana man addressed his trust concerns to Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson at an event he held as a part of his effort to educate people about the COVID-19 vaccines.

Indictments are more important than reports. Durham has full authority to prosecute as he sees fit.

It did say on second page that final report is to be given to AG in a form that allows public dissemination.
