When I was a kid, my parents explained to me that once I got chicken pox as a child I would not have to worry about catching it again. I was able to grasp this concept as young as I was. Nor did I need a shot if I was already immune.

It's amazing how many adults don't get this when it comes to COVID.

Pox Parties. My sister was exposed that way as well as my wife. I know that just aged me but there is something about the old way of doing things.
