The picture of Fred makes this even more hilarious.
Its retarded, too much micromanagement and accidental purchases, but if it works for him then good for him
Just remember, all fiat money in history has end up At The same place. ZERO, WORTHLESS, NADA! US Dollar has already lost 98% of its value, well on its way to the same trash bin as all others. Why do you think they want to move to digital ?
I didn't realize this before, but after reading your post i did some research and confirmed that it is true.
How much fiat currency do you recommend having? I am thinking I will just put my investments and savings into gold. I probably need to have some money for day to day purchases (grocery store, gas, etc...)
Generally what people in the stacker-sphere say is that they leave enough in the bank to cover their bills for a month or two and then a bit of a buffer for emergencies such as your car breaking down then the rest goes into investing.
Lately I've been thinking I should keep a bit more cash only because I have a feeling a crash is coming but it's not anything evidence based as you can't really time this stuff so I'm just going off my gut.
If you're just getting into metals consider that silver appears very undervalued (so does gold but silver is more so) so get both but maybe you'd be comfortable speculating on silver rising quite nicely and allocating more towards it (obviously do your own research and accept the risks).
As far as resources go I like these channels on youtube:
George Gammon For content about the financial system.
Palisades Gold Radio Interviews in the metals space.
Stansberry Research Interviews in the metals space.
Evidence Based Wealth (a.k.a. belangp) Some interesting but sometimes advanced or abstract concepts that I don't always follow.
I like watching videos from channels like these because they often have a philosophical tie in but also provide perspective about how to financially position yourself in ways that most normal people aren't exposed to.
This advice makes a lot of sense to me. I think, being new to the game, I will probably look to keep a half year's worth of cash supply on hand, at this time and look to divest my other assets into silver and gold.
No firm decision yet, as I literally just started planning this today.
Thank you for the links! I am ready to really educate myself on this and get going. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
That sounds reasonable and I hope it all goes well for you.
If you have questions about metals I can try to answer them for you or you can spend a bit of time watching "stacking" content on youtube.
There are channels such as Yankee Stacking that may be helpful for general questions.
Depends on your situation...... land, tangible goods like liquor, cigarettes, maybe a bit of crypto, silver . Read up on Nesara and Gesara....... it’s possible we could get a new system not run by deep sate too .... we don’t want digital bs !!
That's interesting. Something I literally have never considered before. Thank you.
Sounds like it would be good in the short term but I don't see how you could save money in the long term that way
Seems like a better idea to grow beans.
I can imagine this scene from a future apocalyptic world.
The man behind the corner, beckons you. He saw you with the loaf of bread that you managed to score somehow. Your instinct tells you to run, but the man is too thin to be of any harm and he is holding something crumpled in a dirty paper bag in his hands.
You make it a point to adjust your axe hanging from the waistband as you casually step towards the corner. Watching out for the least false movement he might make, you nod at him. He opens his hands, and lo behold - game cartridges. All kinds of game cartridges. The old world ones, the recent ones. Shiney disc ones, hard plastic ones. Ones you don't even recognise but have only heard about whispered in awe.
Keeping your cool, you nod again and point to the ground where he places the bag slowly. His eyes havent left the loaf of bread in your hand as he pushes the bag towards you. You throw the loaf at him, and he catches it and scurries off into the dirty alleyways. You can hear some kids squeal with joy and shushing sounds as you walk away with the unexpected motherlode of treasure.
Is this what money laundering looks like?
In two seconds they are going to start charging cancellation fees. But it reminds me of the girls that go out and buy a bunch of outfits and clothes, wear them once and then return them.
