Instead of theorize, why not just point to alleged scientific proofs of the world being round?
Flat earthers were definitely (understandably) confused by admissions that we don't have pictures of the ball earth and things like that
I'm for keeping an open mind and open discussion on the topic, for asking questions - that should lead us closer to the direction of what's true
I mean, it's pretty awkward that people act like it's proven that the world is round and then get angry at people for believing it's flat - if it's so proven, just explain patiently how then - if you admit it's not proven, then why be angry at someone for what they believe in the face of uncertainty that gives room for disagreement in belief?
Also, how does it affect anyone if the world is flat or round? Not really going to change much about our day to day lives (I could see some arguments for how it might affect our lives, but also at other times I can see how it doesn't really change too much)
