It's really weird in South Bay part of L.A. I've been going into grocery stores without a mask, notably since July 15th when the mandate was reinstated. My bank had me put one on - I complied with my Trump mask. But NO grocery store to this point has said anything to me at all. I wear my punisher 1776 tee shirt and no mask and so far nothing. I'm like the only one in the store without a mask and nothing. I'm really confused, but I get home and still get the say "still the undisputed maskless champion" At least for a while still, I hope.
Agreed. Westside LA. Most of the places have stopped caring. Big hardware, groceries, places that used to have designated checkers, mostly don't care. Whole Foods asked me, but most of the employees are done with masks, and certainly don't want to be enforcers. It feels nice to keep pushing.
Protip: Most millennials are apathetic, and nonconfrontational. Most of them either don't give a damn or are too reluctant to initiate any kind of conflict to actually do anything about you not wearing a mask.
That wasn't my experience until now. I'd go in without a mask and every time some mind wipe employee would stop me and offer me a mask and demand I put one on. If you don't comply you're asked to leave the store. I figure their store, their rules. I just don't have time to walk out of there etc. just to buy groceries. I'm not going to lie and say I have a condition, HIPAA etc. Things seem to be different now. But we'll see on a day by day basis I guess.
I’m in San Diego ..the nutjobs are out in full force muzzled. I haven’t been bothered ..I wore a medical exempt badge for over a year so I never wore one, but it’s so nice not having to deal with the confrontations!
I went to the federal farm service agency in my county. Iowa is a no mask state but federally the mask mandate is enforce. No one had masks on, enter me mask less. All desks, masks went on and I was given a mask to speak my business. All nice people I know but they have to follow orders.
San Mateo County on the SF Peninsula, I’ve been to the bank, restaurants, supermarket. No one has asked me to put on a mask. Only my gym has asked, I normally put it on for a few minutes until the girl goes back to the desk. Today they didn’t even ask.
Edit: I was also asked at my kids high school while indoors.
San Mateo County is 90% . From people I know, I think it’s accurate.

Where are you located? I can see non-compliance being the norm in Orange County, but not LA or SF

No masks in my area of Northern Cali either, Butte County. Only a small number of chickenshit outfits doing masks.
