oThis morning I opened my email to see that I was granted an exemption from my employers requirement of the Covid-inspired mRNA injectable product.
I need to thank this community as I could not have done it on my own.
Over the last month or so I copied a piece from a post here, a segment from someone's comment there and was able to craft an assertion of religious objection that was well sourced, accurate, and most importantly - true to my sincerely held beliefs as a Christian.
I work at a University in the Northeast US which is extremely leftwing, some of our top administrators actually openly worked for the Biden/Harris campaign and all our leadership donates bigly to left wing extremist house/senate members.
So, I was fully expecting my application to be denied, but by the grace of God it was accepted and I will not be losing my job due to my un-injected status.
I am however aggressively looking for a new non-jabby job because f*ck them for attempting this in the first place.

EDIT: To answer some questions. My school had a deadline of the end of August so I submitted last week to give me some time to bail if denied.
I do not have a copy of what exactly was written as it went into an online form and I did not back it up onto a word doc or anything. It was brief and essentially I said that I was a Christian and taking an injection that has or uses fetal cell tissues goes against my sincerely held beliefs. I don't remember the link now but it can be searched for that shows which ones have it in the shot and which ones used fetal cells in the testing phase. I didn't quote any Bible verses or anything like that since I learned from videos I saw that it is not necessary, the only requirement you need is that you have a sincerely held religious belief so the less you say the better.

I want to say this again here, recently some others I work with were denied their exemptions. One person who appealed said something like, who the hell are you to challenge my personal relationship with God, this person's exemption was then approved. So throw it back in their face is my advice. If you don't get it the first time like I and Op, then appeal and give em heck. You don't have anything to lose.

Were you asked to prove that the aborted fetal cells were used? Do you have a source that people like those at your co. would accept?
I researched this the other day, and posted on links. Even google gets to sources that confirm this. All 3 vaccines used fetal cell lines at a minimum, the fetal cells lines were from aborted babies in the 70s and 80s and continue to be grown in a lab. If you search for "fetal cell lines used in xxxxx" and put in pfizer covid vaccine, then do it for the others you will find the links you need.

I have 2 jobs so I can use it twice as often! Actually one job is a solid NO-JABBY job so I'm safe there. My 2nd job in an office of 4 people is a super PRO-jabby job but they all just assumed I got the jabby-jab because I quit wearing the mask. I am just sliding under the radar for now!

YES! I really needed this job and it will open a lot of doors for me. I prayed over this for a long time & knew if they made a fuss, I'd have to leave. Turns out I didn't need to be concerned at all because they all just assumed I was. I like all of these people a lot so it's been good for me to have sympathy while trying to learn how these very intelligent people have been so snowballed. It's fascinating!

Just because you got your exemption doesn’t mean you can stop fighting and showing up to rallies. It’s only a temporary bandaid on a gushing wound.

Congratulations! My wife is still waiting for hers in Charlotte. Still there are strings attached (have to drive uptown once a week for a Covid test) and wear the special N95 (Scarlet Letter mask). She is one of the best nurses at the hospital (many National recognition awards, that by the way, she never told me about) so the surprise will be on them, even if she receives the exemption. We have prayed about it and she is moving on! Charlotte Hospitals will not be worth going to after September 15th! They have no idea what is about to hit them!

Sadly our military members are not going to be able to use the religious exemption due to already taking vaccines in the past. At least, this is the case with a friend of mine that went before the board yesterday. They only have 2 more years left that they are obligated to the military. If the vaccine becomes mandatory and you don't get the shot, it is automatic UCMJ because of disobeying a lawful order, or court martial. The religious exemption will be out the window because during their military career they have been vaccinated. Pretty much if they have been vaccinated then there is not exception to the COVID, and the religious exemption packet has a 99.9% of being kicked back. By the time it becomes mandatory, then they would have to decide to stay, which implies getting the vaccine because it is approved, or retire, as the DoD will give them 180 days to start the process. The problem they have is that they still owe the Army two more years because of the Quality Retention Program, so if they decide to retire, then they may run the possibility of their packet being kicked back because of those two years left.
The last resource would be to reluctantly get the vaccine. They are struggling emotionally with this.
Past injections are irrelevant, one can adopt a religious belief at any time. I have had every vax growing up and didn't know what was in them. Once I started looking into them and became a Christian a few years ago I haven't taken any since if they are objectionable to my standards.

I had this exact experience at my job in a liberal University on the East Coast. I said a similar thing but also said that freedom of choice is a foundation of my religious beliefs and if I am coerced to take an experimental vaccine, then I'm violating the core of my faith and while I'm pro-life, I hope that those who are also pro-choice can respect my right to my freedom of choice in what I do with my body.
Got approved a few days later. I also made sure to mention thar while I have complied with their flu vaccine mandate, I knew this when I signed on with them so I was able to make a choice in the matter.

Wow good for you. If you could publish your letter, names redacted, it could help many of us. I may well need to get a religious exemption myself in the near future. I think I qualify for a medical exemption as well, but the religious one is a better argument in many ways.

My school says that if you get an exemption you must get tested once a week, wear a mask, and practice social distancing. Did you get any of these?
My school says that you will be required to do all those things whether you are injected or not.

That is good to hear. I asked for help here in the forums and found the religious exemption waiver form for my husband who was told that he had until Sept. 30th to get vaxxed. He submitted it to corporate yesterday, so we are waiting to see what they say.

I am thinking of looking for another job too. I am only staying put for some other reasons but I can work anywhere since I work remotely. Thank God he sent me in the direction of what I do for a living. It has been my saving grace.
