On the cdc website there is a page that """supposedly""" tracks the percentages of each genetic strain. The labs have "supposedly" genetically sequenced thousands of samples for surveillance purposes, but somehow can't be bothered to provide the same service for individual testing. On one level I get it because lab space for that kind of sequencing is probably hella expensive. On the other hand it's still hella sus we can't check which strain of covid we have. If the ADE theory is correct, an unvaccinated person could not catch the so-called Delta variant.
Is there a longer version? Seems odd she would say it out loud. By "they" I wonder if she was talking about strains of COVID.
