Just asking...how are these antibody checks valid?

Maybe. There are a lot of variables at play. The antibody tests themselves are far from perfect- some may be cheap Chinese tests with low sensitivity/specificity. Other tests may be better but still imperfect. One of the big issues is the difficulty in detecting small amounts of antibodies. Most of the tests currently look for IgG in the blood. Just because the test isn’t sensitive enough to detect it doesn’t mean it isn’t there, or that there aren’t some memory B cells in the lymphatic tissues which still “remember” the disease. As far as I know, few or none of the tests look for IgA in the nasal mucosal tissues. I could be wrong, but I haven’t seen any. So you may have some success but it’s certainly not a guarantee, depending on the test, how persistent your antibody signal is, and how long ago you had it.
