It's such a balancing act - on this board, you really have to make the sarcasm super obvious, or people will think you're just being a d!ck. But having the sarcasm being a little closer to believable truly is funnier.
But the one thing I will never do is submit to including the execrable "/sarc" or "/s" tag... that damn thing simply "murders" the humor of sarcasm.
I know another guy on the internet who feels exactly as you do about sarc tags. The difference is that yours is fairly obvious and with him you can be fooled until you learn his style, and some people who've known him for years still get suckered in. I take it you'd prefer to use his style, but the whackings aren't worth it. πΈ
