Think of them as seagulls that are too close to your beach chairs.

When my maskless wife sees one at the front entrance, instead of moving around him avoiding eye contact, she grabs her cart and pushes TOWARDS him as though she has something important to say. Suddenly the seagull has more important things to do, rotates, and looks anywhere other than my wife.
