Alright GA community, I've heard it said in regards to Covid, jab mandates and general government overreach world wide, that things will get worse before they get better. To me, this comes across as a vague platitude that offers very little in the way of real help. It's already looking pretty grim in many parts of the world. Australia and New Zealand look to be experiencing the hardest treatment from their governments, but in other places many people are being forced by their jobs to get the jab or lose their job.
All that said, I want to challenge this community and ask: How specifically will things get worse? Who do you think will be most affected by things? How would one prepare? Do you have an opinion of what will be the turning point for things to get better? Open discussion, please share your thoughts and opinions. I don't want this to be a doomer thread. Just share what you think people could realistically expect to experience over the next few months or years. I'm genuinely interested to hear what you have to say. How bad will things get before they start getting better?
EDIT: Let's keep this based on Q posts as much as possible. I'm actually fairly new to Q and have watched a lot of the videos provided by the GA mods, but still researching a lot and learning from you all. I've been with the MAGA movement since 2016 back when The_Donald was on Reddit. I started coming over here to GA back in January after the 'Inauguration'. You all provided a lot of hope when it all seemed lost.
Magic 8 ball says: water, canned goods, and ammo. Heavy dose of prayer.
Nobody knows. It will probably get worse before it gets better though. Not nearly enough are seeing the foulness of the vax and government tyranny.
Voter fraud led to Afghanistan and innocents being tortured and killed. Blood is on the hands of all those who aided voter fraud by looking the other way.
These same people who are so fond of looking the other way are also looking the other way on vaccines, and as a natural and logical result they will get their own personal dose of torture and death because dying of vaccine ADE is a real torture followed by death. Those dying of vaccination are abandoned by the authorities just like the people left behind in Afghanistan were abandoned by the authorities.
You can call it karma. When they say it's "biblical" that may be a good description of what is to come: Massive death to those who look the other way when evil is going on, and a few good folks who don't look the other way surviving. It would be like Noah's ark.
There once was a time when ignoring evil was not going to kill you. Today, ignoring evil is a possibly fatal choice. The bar for survival has just been raised.
Well said. I think future focus should be on those people that enabled voter fraud.
They need to be imprisoned or hung by rope.
The problem is that every democrat and liberal are enablers in the stolen election. Those that voted legitimately - which can't be that many - looked the other way and enabled No'Biden to steal the election. They're all guilty, every single one of them, especially since theyre still out there making fake claims that the election wasn't stolen. They need to go through social media and find every single person who made a comment about it being a fair election.
Add Ivermectin—from the feed store as a cheep back up plan.

Water (and a way to purify same)
Canned goods (absolutely, nothing better for short term & easy)
Suggest: chili & baked beans (easy meals), red & green beans, carrots, beets, corn & tomatoes. Canned brown bread great with beans (heat in oven).
Add: couscous (fast cooking), pasta & rice (need more cooking time), can dump beans & chili over them for full meal.
Add: potatoes, garlic & onions, store in cool place & will keep for months.
Add: nuts, almonds & peanuts keep a long time.
Spices: salt, black & cayenne pepper, oregano or Italian seasoning, etc.
Oils: olive & vegetable oil for cooking, make some butter into ghee for long term storage.
Critical: propane camp stove and plenty of fuel. Will get you through an extended blackout with hot meals & hot water for coffee.
Coffee: if you drink it stock up on it. None is grown in the US. Look up "cowboy coffee" or get a percolator, Moka pot, etc. for ways to brew without filters then practice making it that way.
To cook rice with less energy, boil water, add rice, take from heat, wrap in towels or blankets and put in cooler. The rice will continue cooking with no additional fuel usage. Cooking under glass in the sun is also free and easy.
Which one of those worked best for you?
I haven't done either of those on purpose, but my wife was cooking rice and porkchops one time when the power went off. She just left it on the stove covered up. After a while we ate it, and it was good. So I know rice will continue to cook without added heat. You can also put rice and boiling water in a Thermos bottle to cook.
Right now, I just have plenty of propane for the stove. If the electricity goes out, I can light the burners with a match like with our old stove. The oven won't work, but I can cook most things on top of the stove. If it goes on for a while, I'll build a solar oven. I have materials to build almost anything I can imagine. That's one of the advantages of living in a really old house where no one ever threw anything away. That came from Depression thinking. And I have learned from others without having to experience it all myself.
Canned brown bread? Never heard of it. Sounds like a great idea for emergency stocks, where can I get it? I'm in NorthEast
Doubtful if you have to ask, ;-).
It's in the same section as the B&M baked beans, pic from...newengland.com...

Well I'm a transplant to a big city. In truth I'm a country girl from the south!
The NorthEast what?
Well that didn't sound the least bit glowie at all.
Awe man, what did it say?!
