We're doing pretty good in California. Greetings from West Coast. We are fighting hard on our side. We hope you are too. Have things gotten better since Cuomo resigned, or does it seem like it will get better soon?

Nothing has changed. I don't think she (Hochul) has "gone after" Cuomo for the nursing home issue, but she did add those nursing home deaths to the official state death count for the chinese flu also known as covid.
She's hit the ground running ... running around the state trying to gather up support for her re-election coming up. She picked Brian Benjamin of Harlem to be her Lt. Gov. That makes sense as there are more people in NYC than in the rest of the state. She would have a 0% chance being elected if she didn't pick some one from NYC so she went and picked the most liberal politically correct person she could find in hopes to have a strong election ticket.
She has called for a state wide mask mandate for schools but hasn't acted on it maybe she doesn't realize every one is waiting for her to act I dunno. But other than that there was no slew of Executive Orders so thats nice. Can people who assume the role of Governor even do Executive Orders? Who knows.
Lets be honest Cuomo or Hochul doesn't matter nothing is going to get done as election is coming up. Theres no looming budget or economic crisis(NYS getting tons of your tax dollars for covid thanks)
TL;DR;
So it's very lukewarm and suspenseful
