Downloading from YouTube help - The Great Awakening

People are always saying "download this before it gets pulled down". My question is how are you downloading? If you have the youtube subscription does it let you keep your download after the subscription is cancelled? Does it erase it off your device? Are the 3rd party websites that convert the video to audio and let you download them safe to use?

I use Youtube to MP4 converter then download file for videos MP3 for audio
