To be fair, we use the term "strike team" in the fire service. Its a reference to the type of mobilization unit being deployed....
fair point, but what would mean in this case, the document talks about Kentucky's national guard
Fire Departments are very para-military organizations. It is not shocking that the guard would use language like this. I'm speaking only to the term "strike team", in no way do I think our military should be coming in to take over operations like this because we're terminating people who don't fall in line.
