I live in an area where 50% of the people put the masks on weeks ahead of any mandate. I was depressing to see how many volunteer to put that back their face.
I told a normie a week ago, "masks worn with a 3% gap are 98% ineffective in stopping the virus, as the airflow will take the path of least resistance. This is a matter of physics, not medicine. The virus is 10x smaller than the material weave in masks so even if it was completely sealed, it doesn't actually stop the virus, it was never designed to do that. Most people don't follow the proper guidelines for wearing a mask regardless, they touch their face often, reuse masks, and don't store the mask properly between uses." He told me, "I hear you but I have a different opinion!" I responded, "I didn't share any of my opinions with you, only verifiable facts!"
