Yes - I remember wondering about Shanksville - so there wasn't even a plane that went down at Shanksville? What about the dead travelers' families who gathered there to memorialize their dead? I thought I remembered seeing that a few years back. I am on the side that it was all a scam - just trying to connect the dots.
Again, going from memory, the plane supposedly buried itself a couple hundred feet into the ground with no ability to recover. I'm not sure I buy that one.
