I worked in classified government work and girlfriend works in BioChem. Both of us are heavily against COVID vax because of their unstable and experimental nature. We told the (future) Mother in Law to not take the vax for months and for multiple occasions.
Unfortunatley she took the vax anyway. She's now in critical care for brain aneurysm.

My MIL beat cancer 2 years ago. Got the vaxx in March, now has cancer in her lungs, brain and blood. They just called in hospice.

Co-worker of my friend, he and his wife both vax'd. Both got sick last week. He had two heart attacks in the ambulance and died. She is in the hospital, I'm not sure of her condition.

I'm a little fuzzy but if I remember correctly the pfizer person said something about the vaccine ingredients having a slow release coating. I could be wrong, but that was my take-away.

tried to go to a local sandwich shop that i frequent to see what was going on cus they didn't answer their phone all week. Their main cashier guy went 6 ft under so they temporarily closed down. He's more on the heavy side of of the weight spectrum making him much higher risk for myocarditis. 99% sure he died of side effects from the shot. Some people just won’t be told. All of our friends, plus my kids’ Dad and his wife, have taken the jab and cannot understand why we are “afraid “. One friend, in particular, kept asking about our status and that of our grown children and I finally sent her a report of our reasons against it. She got mad and told me never to send her propaganda and conspiracy theories ever again. I’m actually insulted because I have not been the one pushing the “vax status” issue - it’s been her, but apparently these vaxxed people think they’re the only ones with any brains and while they have no respect for us, we are expected to respect them. I’ve never pushed “don’t get vaxxed” on anybody - it’s their choice. Why is it not mine?

Also, super interesting is that copper deficiency can cause iron deficiency anemia because the two work together. If you eat or take too much zinc, it will deplete copper.

There needs to be a better way to communicate with seniors. They are gullible with doctors and media. Their fear in their old age is greater than any argument a young person might give scientifically. Maybe if you threatened mil with something else that was greater than the other fear of dying .....I dunno. It's sad. They wont listen to those closest who have superior knowledge.

I went through this with my stepmother.
She was absolutely terrified of getting the virus. As her caregiver, I had to live with the consequences. I talked her out of the shot for a long time, but finally gave in.
I know that any sickness she gets will be labeled COVID. She has had pneumonia and bronchitis so many times, over the years, and the next one will likely land her on a ventilator. When they kill her I will be the bad guy for talking her out of the shot.
She had a long life and she's much happier without the worry. I'm much happier knowing that I don't have to keep explaining to her why I think it's a mistake.

Trust in "authorities" is deeply ingrained in the Greatest Generation. Add to that the vulnerabilities of age and you're right - it's hard to talk them off the clot shot. Baby boomers are easier to convince because they are (mostly) Internet savvy and can research for themselves. But not all - the fear of losing their job or going against the grain of most of their friends or losing the ability to travel hinders some.

It’s been occurring to me that many OP are just actually really afraid of death and dying. So since the covid narrative has become synonymous with death, covid is the trigger of their greatest fear, even though, statistically, getting it isn’t a death sentence ams many treatments are available. So, to them, the vax represents a way to get past (or deny) death, or cheat death itself.
Ironically, and unfortunately, they’re turning to a vax not so much to address covid but to avoid facing their real fears. But, in reality, it is having just the opposite effect.
This is exactly it. I’ve had a theory since the start of Covid that one of the biggest things we’re dealing with re:normies is their fear of death. People can crap all over religion all they want, but it helps people deal with death and dying. As a culture, we’ve segregated death to the point where people never see it or have to think about if they don’t want to. And then we tell them that there is no God, or God is whatever they want it to be, and wonder why people wander around lost. Historically, families were aware and present when older members passed away. It was something they were familiar with. We no longer pay attention to the dying and generally look to dispose of them with as little hassle as possible. One of the questions I keep asking Covid believers (vaxxers, whatever you want to call them): why is it ok for someone to die of ANYTHING ELSE other than Covid? They’re totally fine with people dying from heart attacks, flu, euthanasia, abortion, murder, suicide, etc, but NO ONE should EVER die from Covid!
If statistically people who took the vax and were essentially fairly healthy increasingly start passing away at much higher than normal levels, as some doctors are predicting, within the next few months or years, these unexpected deaths will become an unavoidable subject, even to those who have been in denial about it all their lives.
Personally, imo, those who fear death the most are lacking any type of spiritual understanding (or religious understanding). They live with a nonexistent level of conscious awareness of anything beyond their own ego. They are totally unaware of the magnitude of this of problem and would certainly never relate egoic focus as causing misery and insanity. Vaccine wars are ground zero for exposing to many the real problem we’re dealing with is a crisis of consciousness.
Horrific realizations that the world was betrayed by trusted authorities who committed deliberate crimes against humanity solely for profit and power will bring unimaginable painful consequences.
Will these betrayals force deep seated fears to surface and allow collective spiritual awakenings?

I feel you here. My son texted me a week ago about getting the vax, had an appointment for the next Monday. I only suggested he do his research, and sent him some of the CDC links on this site regarding Covid. He contacted me that Monday, very vaccine hesitant. So, I nurtured that idea.
He missed his appointment, but I feel rejoining the workforce (just moved to another state) is going to increase the pressure to get the vax. It was his only reason for considering it, more likely to get hired.

Sorry to hear that. My MIL was pressured into getting it as well. She’s been suffering migraines and dizziness ever since and is adamant that she will it get any booster. Beyond that she’s been spreading the word to her coworkers and people have come forward thanking her for speaking up.

A friend told me today that his girlfriend's aunt died suddenly of "a clot somewhere." I didn't want to be insensitive and pry about her vax status but given the circumstances I can only wonder if that really was the case.

A neighbor's niece in her 30's died suddenly a couple of weeks ago. He said they didn't know why she died. He thought it was a brain aneurysm.
So very unusual in a young person ... so I thought although I don't know for sure. She died from the shot.
I also have noticed the obits in our local paper are twice as long as in the past. Not sure if that is any indication of people dying from the shots or not.
