Milley was one of the officers in the "calm before the storm" picture. (Many of the still pics crop him out, but the wide shots show him there, 3rd man on the left.) https://images.app.goo.gl/nfMtC9d1KQ1GrNKt7
Even in this post's linked article, what Milley demands is to be informed of all orders, which conceivably could be a legitimate exercise of his place in the civilian oversight of the military. Undisclosed calls to inform an adversary, or the promise to, would certainly be treason, but his statements of his actions indicate that while the calls did happen, they were regular parts of his duties, and reported.
It looks like treason at first glance. But there is still a possibility that he asked to be informed in order to head off potentially illegal orders, rather than to subvert the legal ones. Possibly making him a part of the sting to catch Pelosi or anyone else attempting to issue false orders. Another thread here had a rabbit hole of someone within the Trump administration (John McEntee) who had demonstrated the ability to successfully forge Trump's own signature. It would make sense to be hyper-vigilant, and to have a fail-safe, if that's the case.
Trump has said the overall story is false, while also confirming that IF the calls occurred as reported, it would be treason. He also said the book authors write fiction. Someone is on the hook, but it's like the end of a mystery novel. For now I'll wait to hear more.
Crazy, ain't it? Leaning against Milley tbh, just because his past promotions seem Obama-driven, and also because devolution dovetails so much better if you remove Obama military appointees from military command into civilian. On the other hand, the uber-wokeness looks like an absurd Hollywood script. Time will tell!

The uber wokeness has my spidey senses up, too. Same with AOC.
