Bewitched, with Ferrell, was just horrible. I liked him in the SNL Blue รyster Cult skit, but that's about it. He was mediocre in The Office, then he died, or at least his brain did. I can somewhat agree on your liking a movie without liking the actor. I liked Talladega and Anchorman, but more for other actors. I never liked DeNiro, or Jack Nicholson.
I forgot about that movie. It was pretty good, I should rewatch it. Adam McKay wrote or co-wrote it, like he did Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers.
I used to be a fan, then I saw him perform a satanic ritual on the Chris Gethard show that began with an odd on-air phone conversation about pizza. He also made a weird comedy skit about child trafficking and clowns.
I NEVER thought Will Ferrel was funny. His whole career. When I saw how Satanic he was, his success made all sense.
Same for other Hollywood types. Look at Jimmy Kimmel. Not attractive, not sexy, not funny, not interesting, very ordinary. But he has his own show. I know suspect that of actors in movies who are dull and miscast. They're all part of the Hollywood Cabal.
The quality is kind of bad on this clip, but it's the only one I can find that includes the first part. You can just do a duckduckgo search if you want to see a better quality clip of just the ritual part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-VoCCp-zUg&t=17s
The only Will Ferrell movie I like is Step Brothers, and I like it despite him, not because of him. John C. Reilly was the real star.
I enjoyed both of them together. Also the rest of the cast, honestly.
I also enjoyed Talladega Nights.
Yes his humor is stupid...but so is Adam Sandler and his crew, and that never stopped me from enjoying them.
However, I can definitely agree that he over acts. It's part of his schtick. You either like it or you don't.
For me, I can like an actor's films and still hate the person.
Meet the Parents is still a fun time for me and I enjoy De Niro's part despite loathing him now, as an example

I liked The Other Guys. But I thought Mark was more funny.

Same here. He is overrated and he over acts.

He was at one of those events with Marina Abramovic.๐คฎ

Omg are you serious? Thatโs disgusting
