M.D.s have traditionally been given carte blanche to prescribe virtually any drug for any illness to any patient for whom they believe the benefit outweighs the risk. They were ENCOURAGED to try off-label uses for existing drugs, because what if it worked?

That got revoked in 2020.

Now, even though doctors KNOW ivermectin and HCQ cure Covid, most are refusing to prescribe and actively blocking info about them and issuing disinformation to convince people to get the clot shot.

Doctors, stop being evil. Grow some hair down there, and reassert your prescribing rights.

I'm not sure they know. They aren't reading the same things we read (nih.gov ....)

MDs don't read the scientific studies on nih.... they get these pharma reps that come into their office, sometimes many times a week....

...sometimes even stocking their ENTIRE staff lounge with starbucks keurigs, filling the entire fridge with perrier, etc; and sometimes even buying the entire staff chinese or mexican food EVERY DAY

My dad is a retired oncologist that worked at a very large, very well known private cancer facilty in SC; and I got to see this FIRST HAND

And in exchange, the pharma salespeople would pitch to them drugs and equipment, and lead these lectures, and then have 'trainers' come in and tell them how to use the drugs with powerpoints and shit

There was no "research" done. THere was no "independent" thought. If you wanted to try a competitor drug, well there goes your staff lounge

There goes your daily deliveries of a literal FEAST of pharma paid lunches

(Not only do they make 500 dollars an hour, they also get free paid lunches)

Everyone around you gets mad at you suddenly having to waste their 1 hour of lunch standing at line to pay 15 dollars at chipolte instead of having free kung pao and sweet and sour come to you....

They know. For instance they were prescribing HCQ off label to arthritis patients for year's. In fact I think that's why the President was over Covid in days, he was probably on it already considering his age and higher level of activity than average for his peers.

When doctors were told it was suddenly dangerous without a recall, that off label isn't ok... That opened some eyes.

MAG768720 5 points ago +5 / -0

I bet most doctors have NO CLUE at all about what they prescribe.

They look at a patient. Ask some questions. Take a blood test. Input the info into a computer. Get a "diagnosis" and from there, they have the computer spit out what the prescription should be.

Then they go in to talk to the patient, acting like they know what they are talking about, when in fact they do not.

Bedminster 4 points ago +4 / -0

You have no idea how close you are to the truth. Clinical systems are using more and more automated clinical decision technology to "assist" doctors with what tests to give and diagnose.

DoMagnum 2 points ago +2 / -0

Their goal is to eliminate the doctor altogether. Once people are trained to be comfortable interfacing with a robot, no more human docs.

Bully_Solution 1 point ago +1 / -0

Reminds me of the hospital scene in "Idiocracy".

If Trump would have been on HCQ, which is used for rheumatoid arthritis that is not responding to other drugs, he would Never contracted Covid in the first place. Arthritis patients that are on HCQ are a rather small cohort compared to arthritics that take the other various treatments. Trump took Regeneron to treat Covid. I have heard blurbs that he took Ivermectin also but haven’t been able to confirm.

sidhe007 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yup. My mom was put on it by her rheumatologist many years ago. I saved her old meds when she died and you bet I searched through them the very day I read about it's possible use in covid, lol.

CQVFEFE 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yeah, the medical system is corrupt AF, designed to keep patients alive but sick so doctors and Big Pharma have endless predictable income

It's why I chose to be a chiro - AMA tried for years to squash the profession, to no avail

Then they tried to squash legalization of medical cannabis, to no avail

paperairplanes 8 points ago +8 / -0

Seriously, most people I've worked with care about lunch more than anything else. It's all they think about. Free lunches are pretty much enough to buy off the entire workforce.

Intermittent fasting if you don’t have breakfast. Not a bad thing

AmericanVictory 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks fren - breakfast is rare too, but I'm fine overall. : )

Varangian 1 point ago +1 / -0

If you like fasting why not Wednesday and Friday. P.S. day begins at dusk.

50_stars_for_freedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

Don’t forget to take a rest and eat well to support your body.

Dudemanfoo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Read the book Clockwork. Dozens of books like it... it's a pretty decent one.

paperairplanes 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bring in free pizza for the staff and they go crazy. It doesn't take much!

Varangian 2 points ago +2 / -0

Free Lunch? There’s no free lunch.

It’s the old joke where the punch line goes “we’ve established you’re a whore, now we’re setting a price”.

“Free lunch” is a pretty low price.

paperairplanes 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's the lowest of prices, but so many people are willing to sell out just to get that little.

VoatAnon1984 3 points ago +3 / -0

Satan’s little sales reps.

LockHerUp17 2 points ago +2 / -0

Most of them don't read the studies, most of them don't know. I am a fresh medical graduate and I can tell you that most of the doctors that ARE aware, are afraid of losing their license. If your license to practice medicine is taken because of bullshit like "COVID disinformation", then what?

sun_wolf 16 points ago +16 / -0

I think we are going to need to build our own accredited medical structure outside of the corporate beast system. Instead of “doctors”, we could call them “healers”, and make them swear an oath that they vow loyalty to the health of their patients, not the bank accounts of the pharmaceutical companies. Let people choose to visit a doctor or a healer for themselves. Eventually “doctors” might be synonymous with “forger”. “Oh you’re a doctor? So you doctor prescriptions to prevent people from healing, hey? That’s interesting. Why didn’t you choose to be a healer instead?”

MAG768720 4 points ago +4 / -0

We are finding out that a lot of doctors don't know what the fuck they are doing. They only know how to follow orders.

Many cannot read a study or understand what it means.

GDZeus 2 points ago +2 / -0

My doctor won't prescribe it.

I heard that someone had issues finding a pharmacy that would fill her prescription from her doctor of ivermectin, I think she said her local Walgreens wouldn't fill it for her.

I asked my local Public pharmacist (thankfully we have more than one pharmacist there), she said yes we will fill it but I would never take it. I said Ok, thank you, just wanted to know. She was not pleased to answer my question, she's always been kinda a bitch anyway, so didn't expect anything less from her. I may ask another pharmacist next time I go and see what they say.

There sure are a lot of things that stop the deadliest disease in history.

PaNix 1 point ago +2 / -1

They said this about remdisivir as well but it doesn't do shit does it?

_thorn_ 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sure it does! It destroys your kidneys and gives you a lifetime subscription to dialysis..

momster2 9 points ago +9 / -0

What? Shame on our government. Anyone pushing the vaccine and not all the medicines that have been proven to cure us from the China Flu need to be brought up on charges. Nuremberg trials should begin.

HopefulSkeptic 8 points ago +8 / -0

Dang, looks like if any doctor would have opened a medicine cabinet, grabbed the first thing in sight and tried it, it probably would have worked against Covid

colonial113 8 points ago +8 / -0

But is it for horses?

nothingberg [S] 9 points ago +9 / -0

no but it's a feline enema drug from petco

just kidding

Interesting that anti-parasitic drugs work against "covid". Maybe "covid" isn't actually a virus.

We Need A Cure For Covid. As People Who Have Gotten The Jab Has Gotten Sick And Some Have Died.

GDZeus 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well I guess I'll have to ask my hubby what his brother & sister take for their gout. I know my brother in-law & his family got the jab but not sure if sister in-law did, but most likely did. I asked my husband if his brother has been having more problems with his gout lately, and he said Yes. I know he has had issues with his blood pressure going sky high also, same with my mother in-law who also got the jab. I'm just thankful our kids & grandkids won't be getting it, and of course there's no way hubby & I will. Outside of us, I think our whole family on both sides have gotten the jab. It will be a sad day that I have to see all or most of our family members die. I pray there will be some type of cure for them when this is all over.

MAGADITTOS 1 point ago +1 / -0

Go Dawgs!

50_stars_for_freedom 0 points ago +1 / -1

Gout is fixed by iodine from what I remember.

RoscoePColtraine 1 point ago +2 / -1

You remember less than correctly. Instead of jumping to get your participation award just for posting while sharing inaccurate info, you could have taken two seconds to search your answer first. Idiots like you are why bad information spreads so fast, because you fools just need to "participate".

RoscoePColtraine 0 points ago +1 / -1

Posting links doesn't make your initial wording correct. Iodine does not "fix" gout, and you lack the intelligence to understand the process while thinking linking to sales products backs up your claims. You might as well be citing wikipedia, dumbass.
