I have read over your work several times, slowly, so I could digest it properly. Thank you for this. You have a unique way of explaining your beliefs. I must say for the most part I agree with you. I liked your example of it being like a contract. It made sense to me and gave a simple clarity that if you don't mind, I may "borrow " in future conversations with others. I had known for years that being Baptized was a show of faith. That's how it was always explained to me, "it's just a show of faith, no big deal, it's just something you do." I can testify that the simple act of getting dunked under water is no simple act at all. As I said, from what little I had been taught, it was just something I'd do. I was lucky enough to find a pastor to baptize me in the river at my home. When that moment came, though I was only under water for a moment, it truly changed my life. I came out crying and feeling enveloped in something far greater than any words can describe. I know I am His now and forever more. You may not want to be called teacher. That's ok. You words ring true so please continue to use them. Thank you again for this. May you live everyday in the blessings of the Lord.

Recently baptized here. Would love to hear your thoughts if you'd care to share.

I don't know. One of my junior pastors talks on it alot and he says the Rapture will be a true occurrence. Wish I could give you more than that.
I will see if I can pull him aside Sunday and ask. He'll probably laugh and ask me if I actually listen to his sermons. Haha.
