We have a WEENER!!!
And if you claim to be a Illegal alien, and send those to the IRS, you'll probably get a tax refund on half of those.
Fuck Carpe. I remember when that piece of shit opened a GoFundMe-like fundraiser for legal fees and almost IMMEDIATELY after that, he suddenly started advertising his own personal short code. Them shits aren't cheap.
He's a Paytriot through and through.
TEXT "CARPE IS A PAYTRIOT" TO 80808
Well, Carpe was deplatformed by many platforms. He surely monetized while on them. Like many influencers, they lost their income when BigTech deplatformed them.
But sure, he should still work for free, just to make you happy.
I understand.
I don't think you understand the point.
He solicited donations for legal defense, raising tens of thousands of dollars.
Within the week after raising tens of thousands of dollars, he was pushing a short code for himself. If he had the money for a short code from his personal finances to push his brand, he had the money for legal defense from his personal finances too. Perhaps you don't understand how expensive they really are. Have a look.
I get that you may think he is swell. A lot of people do.
Fuck him.
I do not think YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. should have removed tens of thousands of influencers for Big Tech's political objectives. They wiped out incomes for many, many Patriots and their families, all because they supported Trump.
I have no problem at all with paying for a short code to ensure continued revenue. $1500 is 3 hours of a good attorney's time.
If that shortcode can restore some of the lost revenue it sounds like a good business decision to me.
You seem to be going well out of your way to defend something that I fundamentally see as being unethical. We can agree to disagree about Carpe as a person. I think he's a piece of shit but don't fault you for praising the memefag.
Yah, it's so unethical to make a living, pay a mortgage, take care of family. Hard to believe some people need to make a living for themselves and those they love.
Your assumption is that the only way Carpe could pay for the short code was from money raised from legal fees. How do you know that? Got any sauce? I'd like to take a look and not rush to judgment.
It costs $3000 to set up a number and $11,000 annually to operate it, plus per-message costs. In other words, he already is raking in a lot of cash via various sources.
He was called out for it on Parler. He immediately deleted the short code posts.
Legal Defense Fund
The update was "about a year ago". If you really care, that's the best I can do to help you time-table it to "sauce" it. I have zero interest trying to find archives of anything from Parler given what happened.
Have fun.
Well, when you make it big and have cancel culture come after you for your livelihood and sue you as Carpe had happen, please make sure to track all your expenses and post them regularly so two people on GAW can have really good information to settle any differing opinions.
Good luck and please remember me when you make it big. I'll be your biggest fan.
No comma needed.
Brilliant!!!
I know nobody wants to have a discussion about the agreement between government and the taxpayer being broken to pieces, but if lots of people stopped paying county, city, state, and federal taxes UNTIL they got rid of the machines, decertified, completed transparent full forensic audit in every state and audit of the Fed, and made the people who have been perpetrating crimes against us pay the consequences, we would finally get their attention and I do believe many elected officials would be forced to act.
Capital idea!
I was hoping the IRS wouldn’t exist come this tax season. Oh well, maybe they won’t , but definitely won’t by the year after.
