Thanks for the reminder.. I Came into pgunnels reading of it late last night missed first 45 minutes so left. I like to listen to it while I am working then read it later. Helps to soak it in better with my aging brain. Gonna listen to the reading now.
Also seriously; buy & read Getting Things Done by David Allen.
It literally changed my life.
TL;DR:
Our brains are focusing and thinking tools, not file cabinets.
Not calendars, not databases, not address books. And not tools for remembering quotes.
Our brains literally aren't built to warehouse information; it's just not how they work.
I dunno where TF this stigma against writing everything down came from, but it needs to die a quick and fiery death.
DM me if you want; I have free eBook / audiobook copies of GTD I'd be happy to share with you too, and I think also some one-page PDF resources / tips & tricks, etc. written by David Allen too.
I write down EVERYTHING to the point where I have to make a conscious effort to NOT write some stuff down because it just buries me.
LOL

Nah fren; we learn thru repetition. Nothing wrong with your brain.
I recently heard a quote that really hit; "We need to be reminded more than we need to be taught."
:-)
Mmm, I like that. If I can retain the quote for long enough, I'm determined to use it in a conversation. (Saved for a reminder, I'm a realist)
Write it down. 😎

Thanks fren, will do. Appreciate the tip, I'll be looking David Allen up (I wrote this down- learning already!)
You point has actually done remarkably well at proving itself valid, I had indeed forgotten the aforementioned quote like a dingle-berry dunder-head.
I tried to post the link last night for the live reading twice just before it started and both times it was removed. Not sure why?
What where the titles? I think they want to have control over very important posts so the titles are searchable
