The only thing they got wrong is that it was a religious conservative government who did it. It's actually a Godless liberal government doing it. Guess the comic writer projected his own political stance to his opponent but it backfired.

Yes. The Rorschach character in Watchmen is another example of this (imho).

for the better, I think; otherwise it would never be allowed to exist in this media environment, much less get popular amongst lefties. I was a stupid atheist leftist when I first saw it. I've changed my mind about many things since then, but i still love this film

I wouldn't say godless... Satanic tyrannical yes, godless liberal no.

Now many democrats & left leaners consider themselves classically liberal (liber-al meaning liber-ty), the left steals & warps words. This is & always has been a fight of good vs evil. Do not let them win by pitting liberals who are classical. Liberals against freedom loving constitutionalists (generally considered conservative). They are closer in core belief than most think. Narratives have split us into camps/tribes & we must fight against it.

I mean, if you want to get technical, satan is not God soooooo...

1
HonestBobbin 1 point ago +2 / -1

While technically true, they worship him (or maybe Moloch) as one.

TheLighthouseBlues 4 points ago +4 / -0

No, they didn't get it wrong. This is very much on purpose. Most movies and books are propaganda. This movie and comic told us exactly what was going to happen, because the system knew. And it's inverted, because they always invert the truth.

The comic is designed to tell the truth, while flipping it around and manipulating people into hating conservatives even more, because that's their end goal. They use this tactic all the time: making the right-leaning characters the bad guys in an otherwise honest scenario.

The Zionists and Neocons were the ones in control at the time so it made sense.

HonestBobbin 1 point ago +2 / -1

Coupled with the evils of leaders in many large churches (see pedophile rings) I can see how those who just do a surface scan can believe that it is rampant.

Just watched it for the first time a few days ago. My wife and I were looking at each other thinking this could have been written this year regarding Covid.

Now if people show up on Nov 5 to protest the Parliament....are they doing it out of their free will or are they following the programming? 🤔

lefty_downdooter 0 points ago +1 / -1

Alan Moore is a socialist. Maybe an anarchist.

1
ultra_star 1 point ago +1 / -0

He is ESPECIALLY an anarchist.

I'd put "Equilibrium" starring Christian Bale right up there with "V for Vendetta".

1
Dreadnought61 1 point ago +2 / -1

Thanks to the OP I did something I haven't done in well over 2 years... I watched a movie... Guess which movie it was??? "V" for Vendetta... This is the first anything I've watched other than videos pertaining to today's world since 8chan days when I had all my suspicions confirmed... Thank you OP, it was a most enjoyable distraction from this mess... CHEERS ☕☕☕ I just realized it's been 6 years...

I've seen the movie a few times but my hubby hasn't. Even though it's old I can't seem to find it on any platform for free. I know I could pay but it seems wrong since it is an old movie. Can anyone tell me if you found it on a platform for free? TIA

4
DeplorableMimi 4 points ago +5 / -1

Found it for FREE on freemoviesfull.com. It even allows you to cast to the TV. Check out this site friends out even has new movies

You should learn how to download torrents. It’s not hard. Download a client, I use utorrent. Then find movies on rarbg.to and download. You’ll also want to use a VPN.

You also want to avoid the 5 eyes countries.

Its trying to say there never was an "other", everyone is just human making human mistakes and it was all of us who committed the sin and found redemption. It's valuable idea to understand, but it's also important not to lose perspective that some ARE more guilty. It just wants us all to admit to our personal power over our situation and take responsibility. There never was a magic superhero to save the day, or one evil chancellor to kill to end all the suffering. It's all of us.

I think anyway, I need to rewatch it's been a few years, someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.

Oh that very last scene is just a tradition you see mostly in plays, where all the actors dead/alive or enemy/friend come back out and do a little dance. That's all I saw that as. I thought you meant the part where the girl explained who V was. Saying "hes me, hes you"

Graceunderfire 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yeah that's almost definitely a take on the old stage play tradition. It doesnt actually mean anything, just a celebration for the cast and a reminder they where playing a character, and not to think of them as the character.

0
lefty_downdooter 0 points ago +1 / -1

not sure how you figure that.

-those who committed war crimes got killed -normies and lower level politicians got redpilled -army couldn't bring themselves to fire on citizens

who, in your eyes, is the 2 faced faggot? I don't understand your complaint

Probably in my top three movies ever. It made me very conscious of media that works to enrage me. Anything that deliberately works to upset me or make me resentful is manipulation not information. Information is neutral.

1
ultra_star 1 point ago +1 / -0

You are not very conscious of the message behind this exact piece of media that you are praising.

I ignore the religious stuff when viewing V. Every so often, I'll watch it. Excellent movie

Yep maybe the greatest movie of all time. Crazy how the creators of this and the Matrix are crazy SJW Trump haters

penisse [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

For me this’d be « Cloud Atlas » but we agree on the film makers…

0
Graceunderfire 0 points ago +1 / -1

Think about what was going on as they came up in the world. Then they unfortunately got famous and are insulated from the changes. In the 90 and 20s it felt like the left was the good guys.

0
ultra_star 0 points ago +1 / -1

It would be funny if it weren't so heartbreaking:

Amazing to see patriots crowing about a movie made by transsexuals based on the writing of an occult anarchist that portrays police as fascists and encourages a literal antifa resistance against a corrupt church and wicked military.

Is there anything that Pedowood makes that you won't bow down and worship?

1
penisse [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Alan Moore.

1
ultra_star 1 point ago +2 / -1

I think the conversation here gives the lie to that notion. V for Vendetta is propaganda for Occupy kids and antifa thugs in black bloc. I know that an intellectual wing of the Q movement is not necessary, but it might be welcome. If Patriots could break away from licking the underside of Alan Moore's cock shaft; or from lauding George Carlin as a patriot, we might find some time to read books with ideas that come from authors who are not diametrically opposed to our beliefs and values.

So many of us pour attention, cash, and glory on and into the hollywood pedo machine, then pretend to oppose it. I suspect if the Q movement disintegrates it will simply be because the pull away from American pop culture was too difficult for anons to handle. Without our own intellectual heritage and values, we are hypocrites complicit in the monstrosities perpetrated by those we ostensibly oppose but truly worship.

2
penisse [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Interesting. Thanks. I like that bit of « alternative » culture and I understand your point, but then, our people need such fiction to evolve.

1
ultra_star 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or...our people could CREATE such fiction. Could find the fiction that is written by those who believe as we believe. Could ignore what exists and build the world we want. If we keep throwing our quarters in the pedo/cabal wishing well, how will that evolve into our success?
