Don't know that anyone is born to it, maybe those who have had easy lives can. For those who have been through a fair fit, it can be a struggle. There are days when I feel down and remind myself that the joy of the Lord is our strength - think its part of fighting the good fight. Rejoice in all things, at all times - regardless. Pretty soon the blackness dissipates and I feel better, part of spiritual warfare for those with certain calling. I renounce the dreaded Ds: depression, despondency etc. Takes a bit of effort but it works and gets easier as your faith grows. Plenty of reference in the Psalms about praising in spite of difficult circumstances :)
There is some scientific basis for genetic predisposition to certain temperaments I.e optimism vs pessimism. But of course nurture/environment plays a huge role. How our role models handle challenges will affect us one way or another.
Like most answers to life’s important questions..a little bit of everything. Free will plays a huge role. I’m sure we all know someone who has the “easy life” but somehow manages to not ever be happy. And we all know someone whose dealt shit hands after shit hands but somehow finds the bright side in everything. We do have a choice everyday to choose what to focus our energies on and how to frame/put things in perspective. People that believe in a higher power typically will have a more positive outlook and vice versa.
Thank you. So tired of the everyone is gonna die from the Vax shit. It is exhausting and demoralizing and the truth is we truly don't know. We can speculate for days and we know it's really bad for some but no expert truly knows the long term side affects and no one knows if there is a cure which I believe there is.
A few years ago I started a Service business I maintain flower gardens at very nice homes. If you convince one owner to hire you and the others see you there they soon hire you too. It’s like status to have a private gardener, now, I literally don’t have time to worry and I’m very healthy from all the outside hard work.
Today I will move 6 yards of mulch onto the beds (I’ll probably do 3 today) I keep so busy I can’t get depressed. It’s been like this through all of Covid. I just keep pushing and it all goes on around me....
By the way there is very good money in this line of work. If you have a truck and a good Tractor mower you won’t even have to work that hard mowing lawns.
I'm building a business. Right now while all are so full of fear they can't move. When this shit is over 9m gonna grow it, sell it and then do it again.
Thanks fren!
I have been low this week. It's not how I normally am.
I am happy every day: I know God loves me, protects and blesses me. Who could ask for more?
Do you think you choose the happy attitude? I think I choose it but some people are just born more joyful? Idk?

I was just thinking the same thing, we don't know what's going to happen, so we need to take it day by day in a positive manner...keep marching on🇺🇸

Yesterday is gone forever. Tomorrow never comes. This is the day, the only day, to write the story of your life.
This is the day. This is the day. This is the day that the Lord has made.
What virus?
