I live in Long Beach and it is common this time of year, building up to Christmas, to see lots of cargo ships start lining up down the coast. Also, being in South LA County with millions of people you would think our shelves would go empty first. Nope. Not even a hint of that. The only difference I’ve noticed is the cost of gas, back over $4/gal, and ground beef, up but only .50/lb, which doesn’t even come by boat.
