Delta has NOT back peddled their mandate as of yet. If employees participate in the Delta group health plan (even though the employee pays for it) Delta has established that NON-Vaccinated must carry the financial burden of 100% of all covid hospital related treatments via the $200 penalty monthly (which is discriminatory). That corporate policy/mandate has not changed.
Employees can submit waivers (medical or religious) but it ONLY addresses waiver of testing or masks. It does NOT excempt a nonvaxxed employee from the $200 penalty (referred to as unvaccinated). One can opt out of employer insurance plan during annual enrollment period in November. But non vaxxed will still be discriminated by being forced to wear masks and take weekly testing.
