Just a quick note from this past week. I was at a survival meeting that lasted several days with about 1, 000 people. Several of them said that they now have curly hair after they had Covid-19. I was just wondering if anyone else has had that or heard of that happening.
If that is the case it would mean a change in their DNA or their gene expression.
Some people get curly hair after chemo too.
I had coof 3 times and my hair just got more frazzly. lmfao
you had covid 3 times? do you have immuno problems? Natural Immunity eludes you? Serious questions I had covid 6 weeks ago, hoping to be immune.
I had it twice, second time actually had a worse cough but other strange symptoms same as first time only 1/3 to 1/2 as severe. But my wife comments now on how much hair I lose in the shower which never was an issue before.
hoping I only get it the one time.
Until last year, I was extremely unhealthy. I got sick 3 or four times a year no matter what. Most of that can be attributed to my eating habits and the fact that I don't like taking vitamins of any kind for some reason. Nevertheless, coof wasn't really a big deal except the first time. I was miserable. The seconds and third times I hardly noticed more than sniffles and a loss of taste and smell.
I never got tested, but the way it spread to everyone in the family in about a day is striking. My dad had it first. The doctor said he had bronchitis, but bronchitis doesn't last 4 weeks. After that we all started feeling not so well but nobody knew what it was. Covid wasn't even on the news yet.
thanks for the info. Hope you don't get it again.
Peoples' hair often changes after chemo -- grows back in gray or curly when it was straight before (or the reverse). A shock to the system will do this and there are reports of peoples' hair turning white almost overnight due to shock, so I wouldn't jump to the conclusion it means a DNA change.
My wife got curly hair after surgery. From being under anesthesia for over 12 hours.
Did the get the vax???? Because vax is mrna.....wonder if the babies DNA they used as sacrificial bullshit testing was from more malonated folks???? Is it changing the DNA of the people who took the vax???? Are we gonna see more people sagging pants, and like blaring mumble music now??? Cuz if so....fuck saving this planet....
I asked that question. They Did Not get the vax. I think we were all clean and unvaxed.
I only ask, because my sister in law received bone marrow when she had cancer, and her hair curled, something about DNA changing or something along those lines. Wonder if the shot is doing similar. My sister in law conformed her donor was Latin American, so her hair curling made a bit of sense. It's been about 15 years, and her hair is still curled. Interesting thing the human body is.
I have seen several references to changes in blood and DNA from a bone marrow transplant. And that makes since since the bone marrow produces blood cells, etc.
I lost some of my hair after the coof. My hair is naturally curly, I don’t see a difference. I do have a friend that also lost some of her after the coof & hers is coming back curly.
Late to the party here. I remember in high school being told that it's the shape of the follicle. Round produces straight hair and oval shape makes curly hair. I'm in my 60's so that was a long time ago, so take the info as you will.
