Anyone know where to look for who the props department is on a movie? Can’t find it on IMDb.
If there really was a live round in the prop gun that Baldwin didn’t know about, it’s at least worth examining the props department and their potential deep state connections as they would be the ones handling the gun.
On legitimate film projects and theatre projects, you normally have someone specifically in charge of firearm safety and security, overseen by the prop master. One low budget theatre productions, they sometimes make the stage manager that person, but the gun is locked until use and locked back up after the scene.
Can’t find who it was on IMDB. Anyone have any leads?
additional info; prop guns designed to fire blank cartridges can still kill from close range if there's solid debris in the barrel.
I was under the impression since the Brandon Lee incident, prop guns designed to fires stunt shots can’t load live rounds…
additional info; latest info suggests gun was not a prop, but a real gun used for target practice off set.
Based on what I read, this whole production has been a shit show top to bottom…
This is true, but from the initial report, it sounds like the gun was loaded with live rounds.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Thanks for the additional info. Didn’t know this.
Doesn't matter who was in charge of the guns. It ultimately falls on who pulled the trigger. If Alex was not 100% sure the gun was safe, then he never should have taken possession of it. Ignorance is no excuse for carelessness. He pulled the trigger, he committed manslaughter. It is time to stop making excuses.
did you even consider for a moment he intentionally killed this woman and the entire story is FAKE AS FUCK ?
I love how people make assumptions based on accepting MSM dogshit, at face value.
I agree. With today’s CGI and manufacturing technology I don’t understand why a real gun would need to be used. At all.
There’s a protocol you are supposed to follow along the lines of:
Weapon handler: “I have checked and this gun is not loaded/safe to fire.”
Actor: “I understand this gun is not loaded and safe to fire.”
So, yes, he still shot somebody. Not trying to make excuses. I’m just trying to say there may be other people involved and connected that can shine a light on other things.
Next time Alex isn't sure if a gun is safe, he should stick it in his mouth and pull the trigger.
Somehow my bullshit meter is pinging pretty high on this one.
Real firearms are used in movies. Especially Westerns. A professional Armorer usually handles all weapons on a movie set. Some scenes are filmed with live rounds. This firearm had a live round. The Armorer is responsible for ammunition. All the crew were locals, no Hollywood Armorer was hired???
That's an interesting angle to consider, Noggin. Who might have arranged that gun so that it could shoot?
I don’t know. It could be totally fake, since he’s pulling the “AOC at the border pose” for pictures.
But IATSE has already stated the props master was non-union and based in New Mexico. At first I thought it might be IATSE related because of the Union/industry negotiations recently, but now it looks like it may only be a move to try to force Union hires on jobs.
I just don’t want to jump on the “it’s all Alec Baldwin’s fault” given I know how the prop process works. It still could just be Baldwin’s fault, but I want to explore all avenues.
absolutely! that's why we are digital warriors!
My theory is they used the McCloskey prop gun, except the police dept rebuilt it to work properly and Cuck McCloskey surrendered all his weapons rather than fight for his rights. If only he had, or knew a good attorney.
