Discredited? That is to put it mildly. To me it seems like they are actively preventing us to get anything other than remdezivir, if not outright prohibiting them.

In March 2020, the FDA equivalent in my country sent out a mandate to all pharmacies, allowing them to only dispense HCQ for the illnessesi, known before COVID.

These are crimes against humanity, IMO.
