Well shit, you're looking at it all wrong. I go to festivals, take LSD, smoke pot. And I'm a former EOD Sailor. I'm a father of 5, grandfather of 2. You can be a part of "counter culture" and still be based, awake, and a productive member of society.
There is wisdom to be found in psychedelics, particularly if you believe in God. After decades of avoiding psychedelics, I began using them again as a spiritually revived person. It’s helped me post-Q as the truth requires expanded thinking. I pray as a part of my trip.
I'd say have a little bit of weed: Grow it yourself so that you are connected to nature, and don't have to deal with shady characters. Be prepared to not smoke much, so that you can do life, but allow yourself some luxury. Don't slide into alcohol, lsd, meth or any of that sh*t because that is way corporatised.
I'm not sure I'd put LSD and other psychedelics in the same category as meth and alcohol. Meth obviously causes a lot of harm, alcohol leads to thousands of deaths a year.
LSD and other psychedelics are decriminalized in some places due to beneficial effects towards depression, ptsd, and other issues.
This 100%. Microdosing is amazing and has helped me a lot as well. What's your typical dose? I generally do 7.5ug.
I've also tried microdosing psilocybin, and while it's still helpful, it's not as good as LSD (for me). It has less of an energizing effect. I've also tried a "microdose" of DMT, but it's not quite the same. Due to its short length, it's not quite as effective in the traditional sense, however combined with meditation it's good. I notice a short 5-10 minute meditation after maybe 2-4mg gives me the same benefits as a full 30-45 minute meditation session.
So, you're saying that you didn't attend EDC this week? No Burning Man last month? Good for you! We need all the clear minded people standing at the ready for whatever comes next.
The Baby Boomers tried to save the world but got subverted and corrupted by the Deep State.
Racism was a serious problem back then; Boomers of all races shut that shit down with massive protests and with music and lit that promoted exactly what Jesus preached (in this one aspect, anyway): Love thy neighbor.
Boomers protested big-time against the war (of course, there was a draft during Vietnam, which certainly added to the anti-war energy) and actually helped shut THAT down too; Vietnam could have been another Afghanistan, or at least could have gone on sucking tax money and lives for several more years, had the public's push-back against it not been so strong.
I agree: the Hippie era had its problems, but I'd take that time over the Biden era in a heartbeat. Of course, this is REALLY the Trump/Q/WarAgainstEvil era, so if it succeeds, we're headed for a better time than, well, ever. There'll be a tough period of recovery, and we'll be mourning the losses of the present day for the rest of our lives. But that's war for you. Despite that, what a time to be alive!

DMT cured my atheism
Mine too. The last time I broke through was the last time I did any mind altering substance. Getting attacked by demons was not fun.

You're too old. Now sit down and take your Geritol.
