Good write up. We all know people who cannot admit when they are wrong. Spouses, parents, siblings, bosses and friends. They don’t even need to read the material as they will invalidate the source. When they believe their sources are of paramount credibility such as government or religion, in becomes an impenetrable wall.

I can across a flight attendant that was nearly seething through the gills because she did not like how my mask was worn. Every other flight attendant couldn’t be bothered but this one threatened me with arrest if I did not comply. Surely this was a woman as you describe in the OP. They act as they have the support of the entire universe.
