Maybe this is "The Storm" that President Trump is talking about. Maybe they are going to use this as an excuse to cut the Internet and send us into "darkness." Just my opinion.
I'm not an astrophysicist, but this certainly doesn't look to me like it is headed into the camera. Nasa's Solar Dynamics Observatory is in orbit around earth.
Assuming the Sun is a sphere. (duh) and that the Coronal Mass Ejection would travel away from the sun perpendicular to its surface, then it wouldn't be headed towards earth. I think this story is just hype.
EYES OPEN
NO FEAR
Be safe everyone.
I'm thinking an X1 is nowhere near enough to scapegoat for widespread power outages. But the deep state might still try.

The science of solar flares and CME's predates NASA by nearly a century.
Before dismissing science, why not see for yourself if it makes sense?
I've given him links before on the same subject, and he dismissed them as mysticism.
My point was a general one - not all science is DS crookery.
My suggestion is not to be afraid, but rather be prepared.
Questioning NASA is just like questioning Fauce, and that my friend, is questioning science.
Hmmm...at 11:17 you say? There's that number again: 17.

Doesn't have to be a direct hit. Don't think of it as a laser beam - it's more like a wave or a spray.

If it acts like a point source, then the energy density would decrease with the square of the distance between the sun and earth. I'm not too worried.
Lot more to it than that.

Well, now it's 1:35 p.m. CDT and there doesn't appear to have been any damage done.
Takes a long time to reach Earth. Something like 8-24 hours.
