if it says "made in china" put the damned things back on the shelf! quit buying their shit! they are the biggest problem and the biggest polluters in the world!
They built thousands of unused cities with housing for 90 million absent people, and then they demolished them. Idiots. We get blamed if we don't recycle our plastic snack bags.
Straws! Straws are the bane of existence!
Wait, the paper straws in plastic wrappers or the plastic straws in paper wrappers?
Da fuq? For really?
Yep. Is how they inflate their GDP through real estate.
Cities and cities never suitable to live in and all. Ghost cities.
Like a mountain of redi mix
This is how I get people to actually wake up a little. I ask them what they think "Make America Great Again" means.
I then ask them where is / are their :Tv's from / stove and fridge from / silverware from / counter tops from / cabinets from / shoes on their feet from... etc. Surprisingly, a get a fair amount of " Hey... you're right, man" to this.
I set this goal for myself for the month of November. Haven't bought anything yet, so its a good time to start even though it's the 2nd.
Also @heebiejeebie I vow not to buy anything made in China for the entire month.
I think this is more productive than NoNutNovember since my orgasms don't effect anyone but me (though one could argue it effects my overall mood and attitude and people might find me objectionable) and does a lot more good in the world than my personal fapping habits.
My elderly parents have done this the entire time, never having debit cards ever. Check or cash. They have one credit card bc you have to have that to rent a car, and they use it to rent a car. They have done this bc they did not want to be a part of the world they could see coming.
But some people here seem to think that they’ve been separated from God and will spend eternity in hell, just because they’ve accepted the first series of jabs.
We all have our own levels of understanding. I’m seriously disenchanted by people who seem to think they may speak for God, when my parents have lived a life more Godly than literally anyone I have ever met in my life. When I say they are as adherent as an Amish, with not much more technology- I am not lying or exaggerating or embellishing.
They certainly wouldn’t be on a website somewhere, allowing themselves to be influenced by God-knows-who. That’s exactly what they have protected their hearts and souls by their entire lives.
Yet THEY are going to hell bc they took a jab, that to the best of their understanding, was the best way to keep themselves safe from a ravaging disease.
And you know what? I don’t even care. Just back off the damnation and claiming to speak for God.
I KNOW, my parents. And their hearts are 100% pure. I can’t say that about anyone else here.
Maybe just back off the “I know what God thinks dictates”.
That was awful and obviously I’m still burning about it.
Very very small minority and the rest of us think they are morons.
Thanks,
This is the way.
This practise needs to catch on.
I started this back in September. Not to date myself too much, but it feels good to relive the way of the 80s and 90s.
how did he pay for his rent/mortgage and utilities?
Write a check and mail it.
Isn’t the point he’s trying to make by using cash, to cut out the bank? If you write a check from the bank you may as well use the credit card too.
It's about cash, not the banks. Cash means freedom. Don't use credit cards. If they ban cash, everything you buy can and will be traced. This includes the pitchfork you might want to purchase to go after your tyrannical government.
The cc charges 2%
We were on vacation a few years ago at a dude ranch. I made the deposit by sending a check per their request. When we were settling up, they told us they would discount the balance if we wrote a check. The previous year they had paid $19K in fees to Visa for the convenience of Visa. I gladly wrote a check.
My rent, utilities, phone and car insurance are direct deposit. Not sure how to get away from that yet. It either auto-pay for me---or forget to pay and pay late fees or have my phone turned off---again because I forgot it.
But I think just using cash for purchases like groceries and eating out and buying personal items is a good start for most of us.
Old school guy here: you've got two alternatives:
Every month you drive to the local office for each utility and pay them cash (assuming you've got a local office to drive to for each bill)
Or write a check and mail it in each month. Problem with this one is you're back to square one, as a check is no different than a debit card.
I agree. It's always good to have cash on hand. Never know what may happen and it can be a life saver in an emergency.
Thats so ironic. I did the same thing this month.
Feels normal, that's for sure.
This dangerous domestic turrist needs to be stopped at all costs.
God bless you. The single best way to invest in your community. Keep the money flow in the community.
Make it a “Cash Only Christmas” this year! Shop small, support local and pay with cash. Don’t know how to make a meme…. But this would be perfect to circulate for the sheep,.. cash only Christmas challenge
And consider putting an ounce of silver in the stockings. It can be a single one ounce coin, or a poured bar, or better yet worn down constitutional coins.
We've been notifying our older kid already. We were never huge on gifts but we're already banning Amazon, Walmart, etc
If you use cash, small businesses don’t have to pay credit cards fees on the amount you pay.
For the last 10 years I have been paying nearly everything in cash. If you want to keep sound money, use it.
do your research and meet your local farmers/fishmongers. check out your farmers' markets and fish markets. get your meat/poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, produce, and whatever other foods you need from them, farm-fresh or freshly caught:
if there's a farm you really like, CSA with them. you get cleaner, fresher food for a good price. or (learn to) grow your own food, or hunt. i recently started doing this and once you taste real food, you won't want to go back to big supermarket chains
CASH BABY !
And stop buying shit online if you can get it locally. Online retailers ( not just Amazon!) are literally killing small businesses.
Right near us we have a Farmers Market during the summer. They get all my produce $ from May thru Oct. They also sell meat from local farmers/cattlemen. That I freeze for the winter. Boy what a difference in local, grass fed beef and organically grown produce!!’

This is something I've always wanted to do but never fully achieved. But I firmly believe cash is the way to go.
That’s awesome and remember that American made products aren’t waiting off the coast to come in, they’re here already, made by the few that are still working
Wish I didn’t have a mortgage cause I’d like to know how you pay those with cash.
Write a check or stop by the office. How did you get a mortgage and not know this
A check is considered cash? Last I checked checks are processed as an EFT and the only thing that happens is a bunch of 1s and 0s change.
That’s like using cash to buy a cashiers check. You might be holding that cashiers check in your hand but as soon as it’s deposited it turns into a digital transaction.
THIS IS THE WAY...

NOW DO GOLD AND SILVER!!!

Using cash helps me stay in budget. Can’t splurge buy 150 dollars worth of groceries if you only have 80-120 for the week.
