So Gina is still alive, it seems. So much is going on we probably havent looked for this, but she resurfaced in the news in the past couple of weeks.
Two things here of interest i found
- Shes apparently alive and advising the rich on how to avoid risks: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-10-21/ex-cia-director-to-advise-super-wealthy-on-risks-for-law-firm
- Shes also under fire still for her activities on black sites: https://www.ecchr.eu/en/case/germany-criminal-complaint-against-cia-director-gina-haspel/ and this is the top ranked article after the usualWikipedia stuff on Google search.
Yes, she resurfaced months ago...walking with press following.
But not a word written, while Steve Bannon continues to say inquiring about her is just a distraction.
People died even if not her... it's not a distraction.
Why isn’t she in Gitmo?
Again I ask, where did she get this expertise to be a prize catch for a fancy law firm? Spare time law school while being a spook? She must be giving out CIA advice, which leads to the question of who needs to know what the CIA knows.
They circle around and circle back. No one ever is ex-CIA is what I have heard.
Like Bob Ross’s business partner?
When that came up in the documentary, I almost did a spit take.
Not familiar w that one.
It’s on Netflix. Focuses on how he became so successful and the fight over his brand after his death.
His two business partners were husband and wife. The husband was ex-CIA. They threatened Ross’ brother to hand over all of Bob Ross’ trademarks after his death, so his son got nothing.
OH now it rings a bell!
Exactly. One of my best friends works in risk management- which is a fancy way of saying insurance- in the high net worth space. Attorneys, family offices, wealth advisors bring their clients to her. (Technically, she can't give advice without a license. - I don't just mean a law license, I am also referring to an insurance license. ) These people are not GEICO customers - their situations are horribly complex. This is one of those pay off jobs IMHO.
The CIA paid for her education.
I would hire her if I was not interested in solving a problem through appropriate legal Channels
Considering who her new employer is, that is the most reasonable explanation.
She was specifically part of the devolution team, as a member of National Security Council Principals Committee. I'd expect she disappears from public view to work on those tasks...
