Every generation says this of newer music than they were raised on, but this society has become so sick, warped, and most importantly, self-hating, that the people steeped in it embrace filth, evil, and death. Music no longer matters (it is mumbles fed into a computer and layered onto trite beats), the people listen to be a part of the widespread corruption, a part of the fall. All they have left is the community that falls with them; the illusion of their chance to rot, suffer, and die un-alone.
