Do you think today's marines would strike citizens? Imagine so many people that they over run police, national guard and the fags (sorry, that's just how I spell feds now)

People who wanted the overthrow the USA government. Would the marines choose constitution? What if high brass was telling them they are protecting the constitution by striking down a militia of good people fighting for their rights.

Its probably going to come down to that and I hope pur boys will think for themselves, deciding what protecting the constitution means...and then coordinate separated divisions to break orders.

I don't know if i can trust it, but I know they say military is the only way, but...with control of the head, senses, resources etc thus control the muscles and arms.

I don't know about today's Marine Corps, but when I was in, we had training classes on our oaths, and the special meaning of the Constitution. It was pointed out that while we were under the President as Commander in Chief, that illegal orders must not be followed. And many examples of unlawful orders were included in the training. So I don't know about today, but I would hope that the Corps still trains in the Constitution and its importance to the American way.

That's reassuring. And it's probably still being taught today, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled out some of that training lately.

Thank you, SkiSkiUSMC for your service. And thank you to ALL marines and all others serving honorably in branches of the US military who are upholding their oath to the US Constitution. I honestly can't imagine what you go through and I don't even want to try. And Ski, I hope you get to see them even before the other side.

I would never think of any of you as devils. Not where there is really true evil in the world and those whom would worship such things. May you all bring glory to your country and be a beacon for the rest of ours that is trying to rise up from the mess we are in.

It’s actually, and yes oddly in the context of this site, a compliment. We’re not devils, we know that. At the Battle of Bellau Wood the Germans called us Devil Dogs because we were fierce and relentless and if I’m not mistaken, far outnumbered. Marines won that battle. We kicked them out of France, kept the nickname.

My Dad was a SeaBee in the Navy in WWII, and he thought of his time serving and building airstrips with his Battalion as the very best of his life. They had reunions every year with attendees from all over the country...families included.
