Next door? It's a distance of 230 miles. When we lived in Vero Beach, a fraction of that distance from Cape Canaveral, a shuttle launch was very, very different than what is present in this video.
Cape Canaveral is 142 miles to the north of West Palm Beach. Close enough to see a rocket launch without necessarily hearing it. Looks like a slightly overcast day, so if it's a rocket (which it looks like owing to the exhaust) the fuel burns out at some point and there will be no further vapor trail after that. The rocket itself is so relatively small (at 142 miles distance and in the upper atmosphere) that it might be invisible to the naked eye.
Rockets do not vanish... Just saying!
The actual rocket is small compared to the trail it leaves behind. That's why it appears to vanish.
LoL. 200+ miles bro...
Elementary School in Orlando and Launches were barely visible...
Orlando is 50 miles away.
